For The latest developments in Neuroblastoma sign up to the 4th International Tuebingen Symposium on Pediatric Solid Tumors, to be held 16-18 February 2012. The title of the symposium is "From bench to bedside in Neuroblastoma" and the programme is very comprehensive, with presentations from international leaders in the field: click on the logo for more details.
IPSO meets annually at a joint congress with our sister organisation SIOP. The scientific meeting is open to all members. Papers may be submitted for presentation by members of the society, and by non-members if they are sponsored by a member of either IPSO or SIOP
IPSO regularly holds a pre-conference course in paediatric surgical oncology, and in 2012 year the course will be held on Thursday 4th October. The course is aimed at both trainees in paediatric surgery and trained surgeons who wish to update their knowledge.

A further joint meeting with APSA is planned for 2012- the oncology symposium will be held on 19 & 20 May 2012, while the main APSA meeting runs from 20-23 May. The meeting will be held in San Antonio, Texas. This meeting is an excellent forum to discuss the differences between COG and SIOP protocols, and to compare the different styles of surgical management of children's solid tumours. All of the major tumour groups will be discussed. More details are found on the congress website
