2012 is a busy year for IPSO: as well as our annual meeting (this year it's in London in October) we are holding a joint meeting with APSA in May. We are also being asked to provide more courses in paediatric surgical oncology. More information about all of these events can be found on this website.
We are continuing to attract new members from new countries, and IPSO is without doubt the leading global organisation addressing children's cancer surgery. We are delighted to be launching a new streamlined process for becoming an IPSO member, and for payment of subscriptions- just follow the links
The next IPSO-APSA oncology symposium will be held at San Antonio, Texas, on 19 & 20 May 2012. As before this will be part of the annual APSA Congress, which continues for a further 3 days. Please use APSA 2012 website to get further details. Early discounted registration ends on 4th April, and problem cases must be submitted by the end of March, so please don't delay. This promises to be an excellent meeting.
The 2012 IPSO annual congress will be held in London on Friday 5th & Saturday 6th October. Abstracts must be submitted by 26th March. London will be recovering from hosting the Olympic Games, and the city should be looking at its best. As previously there will be an educational day preceding the IPSO congress, Thursday 4th October. This is provided at no extra cost to congress delegates, and there will be plenty of room, so everyone who wants to come should be able to be accommodated. The day will be held at the Institute of Child Health, not far from the congress centre at the Barbican.

On Wednesday 13th June 2012 IPSO will be running a paediatric surgical oncology course at the combined EUPSA/BAPS meeting in Rome, as part of the regular series of courses that have been held at EUPSA meetings over the last few years.
